      Contest Terms and policy Agreement

    • General Rule

      • All the participants must fill out an online registration and agreement form.

      • Participant Eligibility: Anyone from Pre Kinder-Gr.12.

        • Category 1: Pre Kinder-Gr.1 / Category 2: Gr.2 -4 / Category 3: Gr.5 – 7 / Category 4: Gr.8 – 12

      • Participants must draw pictures that adhere to the theme of the contest.

      • A participant must not copy works of others. No plagiarism allowed.

      • The artwork of “Edmonton Children's Art Contest” will not be returned.

      • “Edmonton Children's Art Contest” will only accept the artwork done on the paper provided.  

      • Parents or guardians have responsibilty for supervising your children’s own safety.

        • Creative Dreamers Foundation and Edmonton Creative Art Fair assumes no responsibility

        • for any personal injuries or damages to the property.

      • This year, painting materials are not allowed (acrylic, watercolor are not allowed).

        • Only colored pencils, markers, pencils, scissors, and glue are allowed, and these will also be provided at the painting table.

    • Agreement form

      • “Edmonton Children’s Contest” will hold the rights to all artworks once they are entered into the contest.If the declared winners cannot be reached, the next runner up will be awarded the prize.

      • “Edmonton Creative Art Fair” promotional purposes.

    • Theme

      • Please use at least 6 objects from the print out to incorporate with your creative artwork.

      • Cut out objects from the print out and glue them onto your contest paper and begin drawing.

        • For younger participants, parents may help them cut and glue items on paper, however, drawing must be done by participants.

      • You can use any of the materials provided. (Pencil, pencil crayons, pens, markers)

    • PHOTO CONSENT AGREEMENT

      • I, the undersigned, do hereby consent to Creative Dreamers foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Competition Organizer"), their officers, employees, agents, representatives, and all other persons acting under their permission or upon their authority or for whom they are acting, to utilize my appearance in connection with the art competition entitled "Creative Art fair Competition" and the artwork I submit to it.

        • GRANT OF RIGHTS: I grant to the Competition Organizer, its representatives, and employees the right to use my face and/or the submitted artwork in any and all of its publications, including but not limited to all Competition Organizer's printed and digital publications.

        • AUTHORIZED USE: I understand and agree that these materials will be used without payment or any other form of consideration. I understand that my face and/or artwork may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed.

        • DISCLAIMER: I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

        • WAIVER: I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, where my face and/or artwork appears.

        • RELEASE: I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge the Competition Organizer from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.

        • I attest that I am at least 18 years of age, have read and understood the foregoing statement, and am competent to execute this agreement.
