1. Participant Eligibility: Anyone from Pre Kinder-Gr.12 from Edmonton and surrounding areas.
  2. All the participants must fill out and sign registration and agreement form.
  3. A participant must not copy works of others. No plagiarism allowed.
  4. The “Children’s Art Contest”will hold the right of all artworks once they are entered into the contest.
  1. The artwork of “Children’s Art Contest’s Art Contest “will not be returned.
  2. Information of participants will be collected by Creative Dreamers Foundation, and the collected personal information will only be used to contact the contest winners.
  3. A participant must follow the Topic direction. (Topic changes every year)
  4. If the declared winners cannot be reached by given date, the next runner up will be awarded the prize.
  5. Prizes cannot be exchanged or modified.
  6. Artworks can be be used for “Edmonton Children’s Art Contest” promotional purposes.
  7. The Photos will be posted on the the website, www.childrensartcontest.ca and www.creative-dreamers.org may be used to create future promotional material. 
  8. Photos taken during Award ceremony event may also be posted on www.childrensartcontest.ca, www.creative-dreamers.org and other contest “sponsors’ websites.
  9. There will be 7 winners in total and 8 special Winners (Brilliant Idea and Best Effort).

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall winners;

1 winner (Category winner) from each age Category

  • Category 1: Pre Kinder-Gr.1
  • Category 2: Gr.2 -4
  • Category 3: Gr.5 – 7
  • Category 4: Gr.8 – 12
